What we need is here…

I recently had a wonderful opportunity to photograph a group of fantastic kids at a daycare in Waterbury. This being my first fall in Vermont, the kids and I were equally excited with the freshly fallen leaves and changing colors. You could tell, this was the time of year we had all been waiting for.

Our senses were filled with new beginnings of fall. The sweet scents, the crunching under our feet and between our fingers, various shades of orange and yellow twinkling from the sunrays as the wind blew through.

Everything we had anticipated, was finally there with us, under those trees.

Maya and Eliza

It was beautiful and refreshing to watch a field of dandelions become a magical playground for Maya and Eliza during our day together. Since moving to Vermont, the dandelion has been re-born to me as an inspiringly resiliant and helpful spring plant. I would have never thought that this “weed” could provide so many uses in taking care of ourselves. How lucky Maya and Eliza are to have these plants in abundance everywhere they look.
